Event in the gardens “The five senses in the garden”

We are pleased to invite you to the 21st edition of “Rendez-vous aux jardins” in the park of the Jean Monnet House on Saturday 1st of June and Sunday 2nd of June 2024! This year the theme is “the five senses in the garden”.

Guided tour of the Jean Monnet House from 11h30 to 16h

INTRODUCTION PAINTING WORKSHOP "My garden of the 5 senses" from 10h30 to 17h - general public

After a visit to the Jean Monnet House and a presentation of the works of Silvia Monnet, let yourself be guided for an introduction to outdoor painting with Philippe Tortey, a qualified plastic arts teacher. Come with your equipment: easel, pencils, gouache, brushes. Bring your picnic and drinks.

CONFERENCE « Naïve art & nature » from 14h30 to 15h30 - general publicDiscover Naive Art thanks to the explanations of Emma Noyant, director of MIDAN (Vicq International Museum of Naive Art) and two paintings loaned for the occasion.

DISCOVERY« European citizen garden » from 15h30 to 17h - general public

Discover the remarkable work of the 4th 3 students of the Maurice Ravel college in Montfortl'Amaury and their teacher Sandrine Ferrandin during the educational participatory projects organized by the Paradeisos association.

SENSORY WORKSHOP « Barefoot anture » from 11h to 17h - in family

Take off your shoes and dare to venture onto different plants and materials: straw, corn, bamboo, moss... An original way to learn to (re)know the nature that surrounds us.

Let yourself be told the story of the Citizen and European Garden and set off to discover the wooded park of the Maison Jean Monnet.
