Performance and guided tour for Culture and Disability Week

Culture and Disability Week, November 29 to December 7, 2025

The Culture and Disability Week was created by the Yvelines Department to promote a week of cultural events related to disability, coinciding with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (December 3).

Part of the Yvelines Musées Solidaires program, this Culture and Disability Week has a dual purpose: raise public awareness of disability issues and promote the rights and well-being of people with disabilities. It was conceived with the idea that culture, while not a cure, can contribute to well-being.

Yvelines Musées Solidaires is a departmental program which, in 2025, supported 18 museums, monuments and art centers in Yvelines in their policies for welcoming audiences with disabilities. The Jean Monnet House joined the Yvelines Musées Solidaires program in 2024.

The Jean Monnet House invites you to an adapted, participatory and musical show on Thursday, December 4th.

BALBUTIO is an adapted and participatory show for all audiences, bringing together people of all ages and abilities through the universal language of play. It is a playful, poetic, and collaborative exploration open to families and those who have retained their childlike spirit. A facilitator/actor guides this playful exploration, using music to create a spontaneous and interactive dialogue.

After the show, we invite you to extend the experience by discovering the Jean Monnet House on a guided tour.
