Programme
The European institutions will commemorate Europe Day on 9 May, the date of the Schuman Declaration, which 70 years ago set Europe on the path to what is today the European Union. Circumstances this year mean that the Jean Monnet House is closed to the public. However, the European Parliament does have a full programme of on-line activities which will enable citizens to find out about the history of the Schuman Declaration, the work of the European Parliament and Europe’s solidarity in the face of COVID-19.
